All the recipients of the awards have been posted with a little information on each. It was a very difficult choice for us here at F4U but we are confidant in our decisions and our proud of each and every one of you that took the time and suffered the pain to apply. Hello Everyone,
The Fighter of the Year and the Andrea Gianopoulos Memorial Scholarship recipients have been chosen as of January 1st.
We are currently trying to contact all of the individuals before we post the names.
Once everyone has responded we will write a news article.
We had to postpone the date from December 15th to January 1st due to the overwhelming reponse last year.
Thank you to everyone who submitted applications. I just wish we could do more.
At the begining of a new year Andrea would have wanted to wish everyone "Blessed Be".

Hello everyone,
I know it has been a long time since our last post and I will try and not let that happen again.
So what's new? F4U just finished another round of sucessful fund raising. We had 2 yard sales and also ran a concession stand at a local park on July 4th. Our next step is to announce the dates for the Andrea L. Gianopoulos Memorial Scholarship and the Fighter of the Year awards. Please keep checking the dates are coming out soon.
